Living in Australia, we wanted to find a contractor whom had our best interests in mind for our long term investment, as we knew we would be almost entirely hands off once the project commenced. 

We needed a contractor who could make quick decisions on our behalf based on our initial specified agreement. Our property is located near UofA and was built in the 1950s, and so we also needed someone who had experience addressing unique and sensitive permitting issues without input or direction from us. We decided to proceed with Hampton Homes based on discussion with the owner and commitment on his behalf to deliver on budget within the agreed time frame. 

We are pleased to say that Hampton Homes did indeed fulfill what was promised without compromising on quality. We were only contacted when there were milestone updates, or to be notified of significant required changes to the initial plan. Minimal and respectful disruption to existing tenants was planned well and appreciated throughout the project, and we received positive feedback from the existing tenants.

After deciding to move to St. Albert from Ontario, and purchasing a home in November 2016, we began thinking about adding a swim spa and redesigning the master bathroom. We enjoy Canadian winters and wanted something that could be used year-round.

Our real estate agent suggested we speak with general contractor Corey Peters of Hampton-Homes. Corey asked a lot of questions and listened carefully as we kicked around many ideas.  He then distilled our thinking and produced preliminary drawings that were bang on. A contract was drawn up that met our needs and by the time we arrived in St. Albert from Ontario, work was underway.

The work is complete (on-time) and the end result is as perfect for Northern Alberta winters as is it for the mosquito-laden summers.  Corey had all of the sub-contractors…from architect to roofer…HVAC to tilers...and painters to interior design. We have a stunning swim-spa/sunroom and adjoining master bathroom that will give us (and our grandchildren) many years of stay-at-home pleasure.  

Corey’s attention to detail in working with the sub-contractors was meticulous, and it shows in the final results.  Many of the sub-contractors have asked to come and take pictures of the room as it is like nothing they have ever worked on in the past.
